Future Events

May 19th, 2012: We will be at Gene's Refrigeration for their annual Customer Appreciation Day event with some of our adoptable animals.  A portion of their sales that day will be donated to us!  Dick Goddard will be there in the afternoon.  Bring your grill propane tank to refill for only $12.99!  Hours are 11am - 3pm.

May 19th, 2012:  We will also be at Walmart in Wadsworth today showcasing some of our available animals up for adoption from 11am - 3pm.  Come visit us in the Garden Center!

June 9th, 2012: The Medina SPCA will be at Hardesty Park in Akron for the big Pet Adoption event from 10am to 3pm!

June 16th, 2012: The Medina SPCA will be in Hartville at the Hartville Flea Market Pet Adoption Event with Dick Goddard.

July 29th, 2012:  We will be having a Rescue Reunion Picnic hosted by our Rescue Team.  The event will be held at the Lafayette Township Hall on Route 162 just off of Route 42.  More information to follow soon.

August 5th, 2012:  Kick Off for the Rachel Ray/ASPCA 100k adoption phase.  (Official contest start date is August 1st.)  Medina SPCA hosts the PET EXPO @ Summit Mall in Akron.

November 3rd, 2012:  Our 3rd annual GALA!  Location to be announced.

Volunteer Training

(All trainings/meetings are held on Wednesdays at 5:30pm at the shelter unless otherwise noted)

May 16th, 2012:  Dog Handling Training JUST FOR TEENS!  Hey teenagers (ages 14 and up), are you looking for something fun and meaningful to do this summer?  How about volunteering at the SPCA and walking some dogs?  For more information on how you can make a difference, please attend this training class.  At least one parent must be present with you at this meeting.
