How to Get Involved
The Medina County SPCA needs you! With our independent status, we are dependent on donations and fundraising to sustain operations. Governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, we face the daily challenge of providing care, rehabilitation and prosecution of animal cruelty primarily through the use of volunteers who supplement a very modest staff. Because nearly every animal that enters our facility requires some level of medical care, the annual veterinary and general care expenditure is tremendous!
How can you help? You can…
Monetary donations are appreciated and vital to the long term health of the animals and Medina County SPCA. Donations can be made in person, through the mail or online (click here to donate now).
Our wish list continues to grow. As our operating expenses continue to grow there are many many ways you can help us without spending money. Do you have cleaning supplies at home that you no longer need? Do you have animal supplies? We are always in need of canned cat and dog food that you could donate? What about lawn care, barn supplies especially horse needs, office supplies paper, pens, staples, stamps, brooms, trash cans, soap, paper towels. Just about anything you use at home we can use at the shelter, we also have a list of items on the front page of our website.......and last but not least your time......is most valuable.

Foster Shelter Animals - all you need is space and love!
You do not need to be a volunteer to help us by fostering shelter animals. All you need is space in your heart and in your home.
Spring is coming soon, and spring means lots and lots pregnant cats and orphaned kittens that need rescued. Whenever possible, we place mother and baby animals in a foster home, so they aren’t exposed to the stress of the shelter. We also get sick or injured adult animals who need to be fostered until they are healthy enough for the shelter.
The Medina County SPCA will pay for foster animal vet care at our contracted vets and can provide food and litter if necessary. All you provide is responsible loving care and a safe, warm place to live temporarily until the animal is old enough and healthy enough to come to the shelter to be adopted.
Please fill out the application below and return it to our shelter or email it to email@example.com. For more information, call 330-723-7722.
Our animals need to know the love of a family. Adopt today!
