How to Get Involved
The Medina County SPCA needs you! With our independent status, we are dependent on donations and fundraising to sustain operations. Governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, we face the daily challenge of providing care, rehabilitation and prosecution of animal cruelty primarily through the use of volunteers who supplement a very modest staff. Because nearly every animal that enters our facility requires some level of medical care, the annual veterinary and general care expenditure is tremendous!

Donate
Monetary donations are appreciated and vital to the long term health of the animals and Medina County SPCA. Donations can be made in person, through the mail or online (click here to donate now).
In addition, we publish an SPCA Wish List that includes the following items:
Our wish list continues to grow. As our operating expenses continue to grow there are many many ways you can help us without spending money. Do you have cleaning supplies at home that you no longer need? Do you have animal supplies? We are always in need of canned cat and dog food that you could donate? What about lawn care, barn supplies especially horse needs,outdoor kennels, office supplies paper, pens, staples, stamps, brooms, trash cans, soap, paper towels. Just about anything you use at home we can use at the shelter.......and last but not least your time......is most valuable.

There are four levels of membership participation that can be considered. They include:
- Individual-Minimum annual gift of $25.00
- Family-Minimum annual gift of $40.00
- Student-Minimum annual gift of $15.00
- Seniors-Minimum annual gift of $15.00

Volunteer
Join the team and make a difference in the lives of our animals. Volunteers make up 90% of our workforce! We need everything from cage cleaners to animal walkers to office support to vet technicians. For more information, please call Erica at 330 723-7722. All volunteers must fill out an application and have proof of tetanus vaccination. See our Calendar page for our training schedule.

Get involved with an SPCA event
Throughout the year, we coordinate many fundraisers and benefits to promote awareness and generate much needed revenue for the organization. You can help by attending these events or simply donating time or money. The best part is that everyone has some fun while at the same time positively impacting a great cause.
