MCSPCA Volunteer Information

Become a Volunteer Today!
Join our team and make a difference in the lives of the animals at the Medina County SPCA. Volunteers make up 80% of our workforce. If you are at least 16 years old, please consider volunteering. We need everything from cage cleaners, to animal walkers, to office support to vet technicians.

Volunteer Training

General Volunteer Orientation:  Monday, October 9th at 6:30pm, or Saturday, October 28th at 10am.  Please fill out our Volunteer Application before attending orientation.  Please sign up via Facebook Events if you would like to attend this class (preferably) or you can email Tracey at tmiller@medinacountyspca.com

Introduction to Volunteering at the SPCA (open to ages 16 and over only).  If you have been thinking of joining us as a volunteer – or would just like a “refresher course”, here are the dates to reserve. You only need to attend once.  Training will be held at our shelter (8790 Guildford Rd, Seville), and usually lasts about 45 minutes.

Thank you for your interest in being a volunteer at the Medina County SPCA. Volunteers are the lifeblood of our work helping the animals and together, we can do great work.

Volunteer Cat Training – Please call the shelter to schedule your individual training.

Volunteer Dog Training – Wednesday, October 11th at 6pm. – You must be a current volunteer to take this class.  Please sign up on Facebook (preferably) or email tmiller@medinacountyspca.com to state you will be attending.  Classes are limited to 20 people.
